Happy Memorial Day. A very special thanks to my Dad (Pops) for serving our country. We are thankful to be able to have fun family days out today (see pic below) because of people like him. :)

Joy in that song once again
Today was a special day for the special guy in our lives. After spending the night at the hospital with a very sick child, it wasn't the day we had planned but so thankful for him all the same. :)

Joy in time flying
Around the time of my birthday, the yellow roses we planted bloom. We take a picture with me and the kids each year. The first picture was in 2004 when my belly was just starting to pop. Here is this year's picture.

Joy in Twelve
He asked me if I knew what the traditional gift for the 12th anniversary was...I didn't. He told me it was SILK! So guess what he got me....a chocolate silk pie. :) Does he know me, or what?!?!
